You’ll come to understand what stress is, how it affects you as an individual, and learn techniques and tools for your personal stress toolkit.

Instead of accepting your response to stress as inevitable and allowing it to develop to chronic levels with associated health risks like high cholesterol or heart attack, this 4 week self-help course is you taking a positive, proactive approach to stress. Yes, we all have stress in our lives, and it would be unrealistic to think that all stress can be eliminated. Instead, our goal is to change your thinking about stress and your reactions to it.

Live your life to its fullest

Stress can change how we live our lives, making us fearful and disengaged. In this 4 week self-help course, we will help you to understand how stress has impacted your life, and provide activities that enable you to gradually take steps to live your life to its fullest. All of the activities can be easily completed within your daily life, with the aim of a happier, healthier you.

What You Will Learn

Week 1

Before anything can change, we need to Recognise what is happening when we are faced with stress and why. This week will be about understanding ‘triggers’ and learning to identify stress and our reaction to it.

Week 2

This week, we will focus on Revising your behaviour and encouraging a more positive mind-set. We will understand more about what internal and external stressors are and begin to look at some new ways of dealing with stress.

Week 3

The Reboot. This week we attempt to change those old, unhelpful behaviours that no longer serve us. We’ll look at issue surrounding conflict and start to really challenge ourselves to get out of the ‘safe’ comfort zones.

Week 4

Week 4 is about Reviving your spirits and emotions as we integrate our new learning into our daily lives.
